Watercolor has become a passion for me. I have always been compelled by Nature. Capturing its humor, attitude, and beauty through watercolor satisfies my soul.

I spent my childhood in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas, exploring, usually with a fishing pole in hand. I moved to Colorado after High School and earned a BA in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Geology from CU Boulder. I moved to Bellingham, WA in 2012, and have found my true home here nestled between the mountains and the sound.
I work for Transition Bike Company, and fuel my need for travel, excitement, and camaraderie through the bike industry. Painting is a perfect counterpoint to the high paced work life that I live and work in.
I am endlessly inspired by natural shapes, colors, landscapes, fish, animals and birds. Especially birds! Watercolor gives me the freedom to join the flow. A flow state while painting allows beauty to flow onto the paper, and I am able to be in nature in spirit while I create from the warm comforts of home.
